Dengeki Hobby Magazine


Dengeki Hobby Magazine (電撃ホビーマガジン) was a Japanese monthly magazine published by ASCII Media Works (formerly MediaWorks) as part of their Dengeki publishing imprint. It focused on plastic models, and included Zoids articles since its very first issue. The issue for a particular 'month' was usually released on the 25th day of the second month before it - for instance, the first issue was sold on the 25th of November, 1998, but was branded as the 'January 1999' issue. All months and years listed below refer to the issue rather than the actual sale date. After more than 16 years and almost 200 issues, the magazine concluded with the July 2015 issue, with an expanded website taking its place.
Content from Dengeki Hobby Magazine formed the basis of the books Zoids Generations (2007), Zoids Models (2010) and Zoids SS (2014). Notable serials and features from Dengeki Hobby Magazine include:
